FAQ’s:

  1. Where are we located?
    • 13 Meul Street, Workshop 15, George. We are right across Elevate Action Centre.
  2. How many items do I get to smash?
    • Each package differ. You will receive a box of bottles, a Windscreen and other small to large items (depending on the package you choose). Please see our different packages that we offer.
    • Small to large items will differ from time to time, depending on our stock and availability. Items such TV’s, laptops and monitors are considered to be special item and can be purchased as an add-on to your package.
  3. Can I bring my own box of items to smash?
    • Absolutely!! You are welcome to bring your own box of items to smash. Please see our guidelines for bring your own box of items.
  4. How do I make a booking?
    • Please click on BOOKINGS to schedule your booking.
  5. I want to do both the SMASH*IT and AXE Throwing – How should I book?
    • You will need to make two separate booking.
      1. SMASH*IT – BOOKING
      2. AXE THROWING – BOOKING
    • We cannot guarantee that there will be a direct slot available after the one activity ends, but we do offer multiple slots. Please bear this in mind when making a booking for both activities.
  6. What so I wear?
    • Enclosed shoes are super important. Open footwear is not allowed. Should you wear open footwear, you will be prohibited from participating in the activities.
    • We do offer protective clothing such as overalls (both jackets and long pants).
    • Other protective gear will be provided such as face mask and hard hat.
  7. What are the age restrictions?
    • Due to the level of risk associated with these types of activities, NO participant younger than 12 years will be permitted to engage in the SMASH*IT room.
    • We do however, have a specific package available for those participates that are younger than 12 years. Please see our Bottle Smash
    • All participants younger than 12 years must be accompanied by an Adult at all times.
  8. I am pregnant, will I be allowed to participate?
    • As mentioned, Due to the level of risk associated with these types of activities, NO pregnant participants will be allowed to participate.
  9. Refund / Cancellation Policy
    • We do not offer a refund on bookings made. We can only reschedule your booking should we receive a notice (24 hours minimum).
      • We also do not provide any refunds should you have been asked to leave the premises due to unacceptable actions – E.g. Not adhering to the safety guidelines.
    • We understand that life sometimes happens. Should you have made a booking via our online platform, the booking can be cancelled for any reason, what so ever and the booking can then be rescheduled at another time that is more convenient for you.
  10. Can the booking be change to another date or time?
    • Yes, we do understand that life sometimes happens. Just let us know via email / Whatsapp or phone call.
  11. Will my fun smash*it experience be recorded?
    • Yes, we do have CCTV in each SMASH*IT room. Would you be able to purchase the action footage which you can share with Family and friends.
  12. Can I play my own music?
    • Yes, you are more than welcome to connect your smartphone to our Bluetooth speakers.
  13. Can I bring my own weapon?
    • Unfortunately, not. You can only use the SMASH*IT weapons provided.

HOUSE RULES:

With great power comes great responsibility. There are certain rules to follow and adhere to at all times:

    1. You must sign your wavier form before engaging in any activities.
    2. When entering the SMASH-IT room, all participants must have their protective clothing and gear on at all times.
    3. No kicking or punching of items as you might injure yourself.
    4. You must listen to SMASH-IT employees at all times.
    5. Be mindful of those that are around you.
    6. The walls within the SMASH-IT room, including the door, are not meant to be SMASHED!
